“How can I help?”

Doula care is all about meeting new parents where they are and bringing the wisdom, traditions, and help of the community to them. From a nourishing meal to a warm bath to help with the nuances of baby care, my work is to help you as your family grows.

  • The pregnancy, pre-adoption, postpartum, and post-adoption periods are beautiful times filled with emotional moments. I will share the many resources I have available—and my years of experience in spiritual care—to help empower and comfort you during this time.

I have special training and experience caring for clients who are survivors of sexual assault, whose baby is in the NICU, or who have had past traumatic experiences.

  • Let me take the cleaning off your plate! As your doula I can help you around the house with light cleaning, laundry, dishes, sanitizing bottles and nursing equipment, and vacuuming.

  • Being educated helps to reduce stress and anxiety. Let’s get to the facts! Topics might include sleeping, co-sleeping, baby wearing, umbilical cord care, diapering, bathing, and parenting techniques.

  • Whether it’s via breast or bottle, feeding is both constant and a time of bonding for you and your baby. I will help to educate and give tips for breastfeeding success, or help you establish healthy bottle feeding.

  • Need a fridge full of prepared snacks? Want a nutritious meal, but are recovering from a difficult birth, a caesarean, or just plain tired? As your doula I can prepare a warm, home cooked meal for your family. I can also facilitate a meal train with your friends and family so you don’t have to worry about the details.

Want a deeper experience of nourishing postpartum meals meant to support your healing? Ask me about my extra postpartum meal add-on, which takes centuries-old wisdom from cultures around the world on how to nourishing new mothers and brings it to your dinner table!

  • As your doula, my role is to help support you and your entire family. I am happy to help with older child and sibling care, as well as share techniques on how to adjust as a growing family.
